This is a neckpiece. This neckpiece is blue which i have chose from my colour pallette. On this neckpiece i have used gold gutta and drew aztec patterns on which relates to the Aztec tribe that i took forward. I chose to create a neckpiece because most Massai people have neckpieces on around their necks which makes
it look visually impactive.
These are enlarged Aztec patterns that i have made using foam board. I got white cotton, used a variety of colours i need and dyed it. The colours combined very well. After the white cotton dried up i stuck it down on the foam board and cut it out to whatever pattern i created with the foam board earlier on. To make it look attractive i used gold gutta and drew detailed Aztec patterns.
These are the same design ideas but i have positioned them in a different area from the first and second one. If i was to choose were to place my Aztec foam boards onto my garment i would choose the third and fourth sample. On the fourth sample i have created another Aztec design. On this i have dyed the cotton black and used gold gutta on the triangle.
This is another sample of the Aztec patterns I have made. The black fabric behind the foam boards is the design I would use on certain parts of my jumpsuit.
These are my recreations that I created. I took them ideas forward and decided to used them on my final jumpsuit.
